¿WHAT IS DATA PROTECTION?
The Data Protection regulation Act has the aim to protect the personal data and the mishandling of relevant private information without consent.
Thus implies that the companies cannot act as owners of the data or information they have from their clients or workers. This is so much so that even the cession of that sensible personal information to the company that elaborates their payrolls must be done according to safe and regulated procedures, if we do not want the company to incur in heavy fines.
There is a real issue in non accomplishing all the strict protocols and safety measures to protect data within the companies and the fact of not having every requirement in place may carry very heavy fines, which we could avoid by a correct prevention and assessment in this field.
